Snowta NYE: Minneapolis's Biggest And Best NYE Party

Posted by Ross Dwyer at

For years, Minneapolis has lacked a destination New Years event. Sure, there's always something going on during New Years, but there's never been anything that could have been categorized as a must-attend event ... until now.
Snowta is the biggest and best New Year's event Minneapolis has ever seen, and it's the only place to be on December 31st. World-famous performing artists. A great venue. Vendors for food and drinks and more. What's not to love? Here's everything you'll need
to know about Minneapolis's premiere New Years event.
Music
No matter what type of vibes you like, there's bound to be something for you at Snowta. From Minneapolis's own Bobby Raps and Prof to turn-up king Waka Flocka Flame to Infected Mushroom, Tipper, and Big Gigantic (who'll be counting down to the New Year), you'll hear a plethora of sounds.
Location
Snowta will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center in downtown Minneapolis. There's no need to worry about parking either, as plenty will be available.
Tickets
There's two different types of tickets available for Snowta. The General Admission ticket will get you in the building. The VIP ticket will get you access to an exclusive viewing area in front of stages, a VIP entrance so you can get in quicker, access to private bars and bathrooms, tickets for various attractions, and last (but definitely not least) access to a private VIP lounge. You've gotta be at least 21 to get a VIP ticket, and must have your ID handy when you arrive at the show. Grab your tickets at Piff or online here.
Pre-Party
Want to hit a party before the party to get in the right state of mind? Well, you're in luck. There will be two Snowta pre-parties, each taking place on the 30th of December. Prefer hip-hop? DRAM and Allan Kingdom will be headlining one show at Music Hall Minneapolis (formerly known as Mill City Nights). If you're more of an electronic music fan, Michael Menert and the Desert Dwellers will be headlining the other at The Lex. Get tickets (and more info) for the two pre-parties here and here

We'll see you on New Years Eve! Get ready to have a great time.
