We're gassed on the killer collection from The Hundreds x Death Row. We love the designs, the pieces themselves, and the overall aesthetic. We're stoked to have a wide variety of pieces from the collection avalible in-store and online, and we're glad you all love it as much as we do.
With a collaboration this interesting, there's always a backstory, and some of our younger Piff-ers (yes, we just made that term up) may not know the history or legacy of Death Row. Thankfully, along with the apparel, The Hundreds was kind enough to bless us with a series of videos briefly explaining their legacy and showcasing their most famous members.
Here's a year-by-year history of the infamous label, showcasing their biggest moves in chronological order.
A brief highlight of the dearly departed 2Pac, Death Row's biggest star.
The super producer/rapper Dr. Dre (check out the jail jacket!)
A young, sinister Snoop Dogg (no, he wasn't always the lovable Uncle Snoop we all know today).
Check out all these videos, and you'll learn everything you need to know about Death Row in under 4 minutes ... plus you'll probably gain a greater respect of the pieces now that you know where the inspiration comes from!
